If you are one of those people who have been waiting patiently for the bizarre horror survival game Agony to hit the market, you will have to wait longer. Agony was supposed to hit the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 30. But developer Madmind Studios has now posted on Steam that the title is being delayed to an unspecified date.

“As you all have been curious about Agony we do have some information for you. Sadly we have to inform you that March 30th will not be the release date. We will inform you as soon as possible with the final release date of the game.” Madmind Studios said in a post.

The reason for the delay is being attributed to the efforts by the team to polish out the final chinks, and make it adapt well to the consoles. The post further mentions, “With Agony being released across PS4, PC and Xbox we are facing last steps including polishing to support every player- no matter which platform – with the best possible experience. We wish this could have been done faster but ask for your patience to ensure you get the experience you deserve when Agony is released.”

The developer has also confirmed the languages in which the game will be made available. These include, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Portugese, and Chinese. The post adds that more languages will be added in the future. The same post was also posted to the game’s Kickstarter page, and people had some concerns about the wordings “all age rating”. There was further questions about a demon that was showed in the trailers which lacked visible breasts, and this in turn has raised questions about the delay being used to censor the game.

According to statements by company CEO Tomek Dutkiewicz, the game has the highest ratings and will be released as 16+ or 18+ depending on the region. And he added that the game is not being censored and whatever is shown in the trailers is part of the game.
